If Ronnie lost it's because...
1. 9 people voted to evict him in week 4 and only 1 person voted to save him.
2. He was nominated 8 times overall - more weeks than half.
3. He didn't play to win, just to get by.
If Ronnie won it's because...
1. His story arc goes from week 1 target to finalist and overcame all odds.
2. He aligned with the right players early in the game to take him far.
3. He showed that he's more than a caricature of his character.
Part two, I want you to start off with week 1, down to week 14(?), and list what you did socially, competitively, or strategically to stay off the block, or survive the eviction. Do you think that week was just lucky for you, or did you actually play a part in your surviving?
I think the only weeks where I had a legitimate fear that I might go up were 2, 9 and 11 - when Laura or Brian was HoH. The others times, I felt relatively safe. So I don't think luck ever really had much to do with it.
Week ______ I...
1 - I talked to Jordan pre-game and knew I was not a threat to her. Therefore she had no reason to nominate me, because I probably would've kept her safe too that week.
2 - I had aligned with Matt day 1 - and by that point he was talking with the others in power at that time and he arranged for me to stay safe.
3 - Matt was using me so he didn't nominate me. Jase aligned with me so he didn't nominate me and by that time season 2 alliance was confirmed.
4 - I aligned with Jen the week before and I talked with her extensively about her nominations.
5 - Ronnie trusted me then as he did before - and he went after his targets - which only benefited me as well.
6 - Keesha and I had been talking lots up until about week 4-5, so she knew that there was a connection between us that could be used down the road. I wasn't a threat to her then. Jen - well she told me her nominations.
7 - I talked to David after he was nominated and tried to help him figure out who saved/evicted him. This lead to us talking about who he'd nominate. Plus Jen used co-HoH and this helped me find out who would be nominated.
8 - I won HoH. I was mostly gone that week on vacation though. And Keesha's power nullified it all.
9 - Jen brokered a deal with Brian/Nick to help keep me safe. I never actually talked to Brian/Nick about that deal, but it kept me safe at least.
10 - I won HoH and put up Brian/Nick. I never shook on the deal though :S
11 - I won veto. This allowed Jen to be voted out for the first time ever. It was also a memory type competition. But I was good at guessing too.
12 - Ronnie won HoH and I won veto to cement those nominations and then Ronnie and I could vote out whoever we wanted.
13 - I win HoH and veto - Ronnie stays safe.
14 - I win HoH.
Finally (don't kill me
) although this isn't Survivor, Richard Hatch stated in season 1 of Survivor what he believed were the three most important elements in winning a game. They were as follows; know who you are, know others (at a game level, not necessarily real life), and have a moral code. My final question set to you is, did you play the game with these factors? If so how? Do you believe those things I mentioned are the three most important factors of winning Big Brother? If not, what's your take on what those three factors are and how did you effectively use those three factors to play the game and win?
No wonder you won endurance challenges
You know how to keep things going.
I know who I am. In fact, I made a strict decision on how I wanted to play from day 1. See my opening statement to see how I wanted to play. I knew others from a game stand point as well. In my diary rooms I always analysed others' behaviours and what it meant for me and the overall game. My moral code was to get to know others, but to know how to not overplay, when to make the right move, and how to purposely make myself weak so that I don't become a target. It's not coincidence that many people wanted to include me in their alliance.
